We are happy to report and to celebrate with you the great personal achievements of two members of our consortium.
Sandro Carrara, PI in SENSOTERIC, was selected as the recipient of the prestigious 2025 “IEEE Sensors Council John Vig Meritorious Service Award” for his outstanding contributions as Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE Sensors Journal and for pioneering research in the emerging field of memristive sensors (you can read more here: https://actu.epfl.ch/news/sandro-carrara-receives-2025-ieee-john-vig-award/).
Andreas Fuchsberger, PhD Student in SENSOTERIC, won the 2025 “EMRS Young Scientist Award” at the Fall Meeting in Warsaw (you find the news here: https://www.tuwien.at/etit/detail/news/young-researcher-award-fuer-andreas-fuchsberger).
What we have observed during these last years is that the success of junior and senior researchers goes hand in hand. While we revolutionize the concept of analog front-ends, in SENSOTERIC we also care for developing young professionals who will play a key role in the future of semiconductors!
